PAVLOVS PUSS

Ox's super rock project that  somehow came together as described below and will recommence once I get down to Queenstown and a find a world class guitarist with the sound I want.

It started out as the feel ups back in 2017 with Connie Benson on guitar. Then we added Julia Van Beek on drums  a started doing as much Cheap Trick as possible. In fact Ox od'ed on 'surrender' one time.

Then Connie went to Dunedin and Ben Johnstone came back from Canada for a month so we got him on guitar and by the end of 2 practices and one gig we had a few songs. 

Next up the much acclaimed and celebated Joe Samson took up the lead guitar duties and we fleshed out the 'comfort food' album over the first few months of 2018. Then Joe recorded the 'comfort food' album that came out on Melted Ice Cream.

Julia became a zoo keeper and since Ox is a wild animal there was a professional conflict of interest. This meant that Rory Dalley stepped up to the stool. At this time Rory played drums in Ox's 2 other bands - the ruling elite & the palace of wisdom.

Ox did some stuff and wrote even more songs and before we knew it we'd had a few practices and suddenly Joe had recorded the second album. That was October 2019. Then we played a gig and Joe decided to take a year of music. Then someone left the bat lab door open in Wuhan and Ox had startyed Petshop Ox.

The second Owl Bum is called TUNGSTTEN HEARTS CLUB and it will be out when you deserve it !!!
