Two decorated veterans of the Nz indie rock circle jerk metamorphize into the pop sensation of the twenty twenties.
Ox O'Connell ( the palace of wisdom / the ruling elite / pavlovs puss etc)
Si Nunn ( Stefan van Soest hit machine / weaponized ).
Ox writes the lyrics and somehow manages to communicate the melody to Simon who mocks his lack of musicality cruelly. Simon does the music and production magic over a small passage of time. Fingers feel, touch, pull and caress the i-pad as he conjures up the music.
He then gives poor Ox (our spot loving hero) at most five minutes to lay down a vocal track. Incredibly for one so aware that he is musically challenged Ox emerges with the goods to touch down in the corner every time.
Live Simon plays guitar and Ox does his dancing bear phenomenon routine.
